VERITAS

On the eve of studying for one of the biggest tests of her life, Hayley’s preparation is disrupted when her mother’s beloved dog (Baley) unexpectedly dies in her room.

In Development – VERITAS is a lighthearted, fast paced Drama/ Comedy which explores the mounting pressures that children face growing up in the 21st century. As we dive into these themes, the anchor of our story is Haley Baker, a young girl who finds herself gyrating between her parents high academic expectations, a death of a dog, and the fear of disappointment. Despite this being a story told through the adolescent gaze, we plan to craft a universal story that will capture the imaginations of both children and adults alike.
